• Therapy

You are the authority on your own life. Within you exists the potential to experience life authentically, joyfully, and with intention. Sometimes that process needs a little guidance, a little coaxing, to come to fruition. That’s where I come in. I use an eclectic approach to individual and couples therapy, incorporating cognitive, creative, holistic, and somatic techniques to assist you in sustaining authentic identities, coping with difficulties and overcoming trauma.

  • Supervision

As a licensed independent clinical social worker I have provided supervision for social work licensure for over 10 years. My supervisory style focuses on working alongside you to develop your professional self, connect theory and practice, and examine how the intersection of your various identities can be a strength in your continuing practice. In addition to my counseling practice, I taught in the School of Social Work at the University of St. Thomas where I remain an adjunct professor.

  • Consulting

I have had the great pleasure to work with multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate individual and group strategic visioning. As the Director of Trauma-Informed Care at the Institute to Transform Child Protection at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, I guide professionals who wish to incorporate trauma-responsive practices into their work. I specialize in working with attorneys, judges and those engaged in legal settings. From vision-boarding to strategic planning to training and consultation, let me work with you or your team to realize your goals.
